San Miguel Ranch & Lodge Certified Guide School
The San Miguel Certified Guide School is a school located in south Texas for individuals who want to enter the world of professional hunting as a credentialed hunting guide.
Spend 3 days attending the San Miguel Certified Guide School and we’ll teach you to guide like a pro. Every session is conducted by our professional guides, so you receive nothing but professional grade information. These men and women are sincerely committed to sharing their knowledge and secrets with you. Their livelihood depends on delivering trophy bucks to our clients, and if they weren’t the best, San Miguel wouldn’t be the leading whitetail outfitter in Texas.
Our mission is to turn you into a highly skilled, savvy guide with the skills to set you apart from your peers. Many of San Miguel’s current hunting guides have been hired straight out of our Guide School.
Where Is The San Miguel Certified Guide School?
Our guide school is conducted at our renowned San Miguel Ranch and Lodge in Uvalde County, south Texas. The area is famous for trophy deer. The lodge boasts 4-star accommodations complete with a classically trained chef. But the pampering stops when you step outside the door and onto the best whitetail country in the world. The ranch consists of over 30,000 acres of prime wildlife habitat. The ranch is an easy 1½ hour drive from San Antonio – all highway, gate to gate.
Who Attends The San Miguel Certified Guide School?
The spectrum is wide. Many of our attendees are young men and women looking for a career in hunting. Others have retired from their first career and want to supplement their incomes with something they love. Others fall somewhere in between – they want to keep their regular job, but pay for their hunting by guiding. For others, guiding is the next best thing to hunting except that you get paid for it.
